The picturesque town of Imerovigli on the Greek island of Santorini topped the list. With a score of 88.04 out of 100, the place impresses with spectacular views of the Aegean Sea and a unique atmosphere. As many as 63 percent of the restaurants there were considered romantic, and a glass of local wine costs less than lunch in a European bistro. The perfect combination of luxury and intimacy.

Second place went to Cappadocia in central Turkey . Its famous "fairy chimneys" and iconic balloon flights at dawn are an invitation to propose in the air - literally and figuratively. The region scored 85.51 points, delighting with its unique climate and friendliness for travelers in love.
